These twelve headed sculptures were created by a famous Chinese artist as part of his first public sculpture project, launched in front of New York’s Pulitzer Fountain at Grand Army Plaza. The heads represent zodiacal signs and they were originally used as a water clock-fountain during the Qing dynasty. The same Chines artist created The Roses on Park Avenue. Here are his creations:
