I just wasted 20 minutes of my life to watch the art work of Xiaonan Sun, an american artist who loves drawing portraits.
When you first look at the art of Tyson McAdoo you may want to say he is just another fallen artist that has a passion for drawing naked cartoon girls. Before you actually judge him as a “non talented” cartoonist I dare you to take a look at these creations. I am sure you will change your mind in an instance and agree that Tyson McAdoo’s ladies are more than just simple cartoon characters. I’m a sucker for his creations that’s for sure.
It takes a lot of patience, practice, imagination and dedication to create these incredible realistic 3d paintings and there aren’t many people in the world able to create such masterpieces. Be amazed and share them with your friends on facebook:
I remember my teacher’s always remind us to take good care of our books, but obviously Guy Laramee’s teachers give him the opposite direction on treating books. He is an artist that loves carving books. The results are quite incredible!
Artist Cindy Teh created these amazing miniature cookies out of polymer clay and they are all done manually, by hand. These tasty looking creations can be bought using Cindy Teh Etsy shop along with a range of cute miniature cupcakes and pastries, quirky food jewelry and more. The vibrantly colored Christmas-themed cookies come packaged in gorgeous little blue and white snowflake decorated boxes that are small enough to rest on the tips of two fingers. No doubt they have added a dash of Christmas merriment to doll houses, doll tea parties and miniature mantle displays far and wide this holiday season. The tiny table laden with cookies, candy canes and even a mini glass of faux milk by Cindy Teh looks sweet enough to make you want to shrink yourself and join the party.
Created by San Diego artist Noah Doely this vintage montages are a celebration of photography and science. Entitled ‘A Natural History,’ this series is a fictional reconstruction of the life and work of iconic figures like Charles Darwin. Using a technique called ambrotype photographic process with a wet collodion plate, Doely achieves the retro feel characteristic of his images. These photos are so well-done that they exemplify the period of time the artist wanted to represent. Additionally, these photographs tell little narratives of the scientific work by the subjects portrayed, which makes them interesting and fun.
Watch this amazing short film called “Light”, directed by David Parker if you care even a bit about energy waste. Bleeding, crying lights were meant to metaphorically parallel the way in which we invisibly squander our natural resources without much thought. While the original sentiment remains, the film also grew into a poetic statement about a world run amok and the human tendency to exploit that which we hold dear. The film was shot over a couple nights in Los Angeles as two friends drove around with a camera exploring the city’s architecture and abandoned landscapes.
